About the Ball Marker
The Ball Marker is designed to accurately mark the position of a standard 2.25-inch pool ball whenever it needs to be temporarily removed from the table.
Like the ball markers used by referees during competition, the marker provides a reference for returning a ball to its original position after it has been removed, such as when cleaning a ball during play.
The Ball Marker also features an integrated opening that allows a reinforcement label to be accurately placed at the ball's position. This makes it possible to preserve a ball position for repeatable practice rather than simply returning the ball once.
For example, a player can break a rack, examine the resulting layout, and use the Ball Marker to mark ball positions with reinforcement labels. The same pattern can then be recreated and practiced repeatedly.
At exactly one ball long and half a ball wide, the Ball Marker can also be used alongside the Spacer Tool. The spacer establishes the desired distance, while the Ball Marker provides an accurate location for placing the reinforcement label.
